Gulf Family Getaway: Great value and locationDauphin Island is a top vacation choice for families. Many visitors are so happy, they return to build homes on the island. The white, sandy beaches and restaurants are open. Our family and pet-friendly house is sparklingly clean and centrally located on a wooded street. Two bikes, two kayaks available free of charge. We’re close to restaurants & shopping. (Note: patchy internet means we do not offer wifi. DVDs and local tv available). Come to the island that many visit and then call home!

Our condo is located in the Dunes building of Gulf Shores Plantation Resort in Fort Morgan. If you are looking for family friendly, low key beach time, you have found the perfect place. The resort is located just 13 miles from downtown Gulf Shores and just a few miles east of the historic Fort Morgan. We are close to boat launches for fantastic fishing so bring your boat, there are parking accommodations on site!
The GetawayThis 1950 island house was recently remodeled with a Mid Century vibe. Many of the original features have been kept for authenticity. "The Getaway" feels like you are stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to ride bikes and you can walk across the street to launch our 2 kayaks. I love our floor plan and the fact that each of the three bedrooms are large enough for a private retreat while the open kitchen/living area is so comfortable for the whole group to be together.
