Šta ćete raditi

All our pâtisserie classes start with weighing the ingredients, and then your instructor will guide you through the key steps of making your own hands-on.
In the case of Macarons we will start with making a meringue as well as mixing almond powder and compound sugar. And then you will learn the art of the macaronade - the key to mixing all ingredients well, without collapsing the meringue (meringue which you will have made quite stable following the tips and tricks of your instructor).
You will also make the various fillings to be used later, and mix the colour you wish in your dough.
When all is now ready, time to fill your piping bag and pipe away - again tips and tricks and practice will make you a better pâtissier ...
After baking the cookies, you will pair and assemble them with the adequate filling and it will be teatime - an opportunity to taste your creations, and share your creations with other participants. Before filling a box full of your macarons that you will be able to share (if you so wish ...) with friends and family. The whole experience will last about 3 hours.
Other things to note
Macarons are gluten free, so if this is a restriction for your diet, no problem. But if you have nut allergies, this is not a suitable experience.

Amanda and I love to cook and we love to share. Amanda is a ceramist, and I am a chemical engineer by training – and patisserie kind of nicely sits in the middle of both of these: science and touch. So while being British and French respectively, after 15 years of going astray in Corporate America, we followed our passion in 2012, re-trained somewhat and opened Le Foodist. This has become one of the most successful cooking schools in Paris where we love to share various aspects of French culture through Food. And we have gathered a team of extremely talented Chefs (Frédéric, Sarah, Christophe, Florence, Anne, Guillaume and Hugo) who among other things can teach how to make croissants, baguettes, macarons, chocolate eclairs and other French Desserts - delivering tips and tricks and focusing on techniques, while having fun!
