All our pâtisserie classes start with weighing the ingredients, and then your instructor will guide you through the key steps of making your own French desserts hands-on.
You will learn the art of making crêpes Suzette - making the batter, resting it and why, and making the crêpes themselves, along with the delicious caramel and grand marnier sauce which makes them so special.
Crème brûlée will have no secret for you after this class - while we do the classic one, you can take the concept any direction you want after the class.
You will also learn the art of the financier, a "madeleine" like cookie, which will be sure to delight you and your guests for any teatime.
And last but not least, you will learn how to make a superb chocolate soufflé.
After all is done, we will sit down at our nice dining table with white wine, tea and coffe to taste the fruit of your labour.
The overall experience will last a good three hours.

Amanda and I love to cook and we love to share. By training Amanda is a ceramist, and I am a chemical engineer – and patisserie kind of nicely sits in the middle of both of these: science and touch. So while being British and French respectively, after 15 years of going astray in Corporate America, we followed our passion in 2012, re-trained as Chefs and opened Le Foodist. This has become one of the most successful cooking schools in Paris where we love to share various aspects of French culture through Food. And we have gathered a team of extremely talented Chefs (Frédéric, Sarah, Christophe, Florence, Anne, Guillaume and Hugo) who among other things can teach how to make croissants, baguettes, macarons, chocolate eclairs and other French Desserts - delivering tips and tricks and focusing on techniques, while having fun!
