A tasty and fresh almond pudding. From the Tree to the glass, to the dish, explaining all the steps this experience will be a little trip to Sicily. Tasting and speaking about almonds from the kitchen of our little organic Farm, this will be an occasion to learn the difference between the plant-based drink you can buy in any store and the real original recipe to make your own almond milk from scratch.
Almonds were first cultivated in Sicily 2000 thousand years ago. As you can imagine, there’s a long and deep tradition between Farmers and Almonds here and a huge number of ways to use them in the kitchen. The medieval recipe is still alive in our Region so we are happy to share how to make and how to use it today. This became an occasion to prepare also a traditional dessert so easy to make and with such a gentle taste, it will surprise you :)

My girlfriend Annarella and I are both passionate Farmers who decided to take care of our families' lands 15 years ago. We love cooking and meeting new people and soon, our Farm became the perfect place to do this. Our mission is to share our love of Sicilian Mediterranean culture and culinary traditions. We grow olives, almonds, citrus but also living the farm we make bread, jams with the fruits that we grow, tomato sauce, spirits, and many other things on our Bio Farm.

It is so amazing to me what they do with such simple ingredients! The almond pudding is a very light and refreshing dessert, and I turned my almond milk into a granita! It was a very enjoyable class and I will be using their recipe and methods regularly at home.

Fabulous experience!!! The hosts are super warm and friendly and professional! It was so interesting to learn to make almond milk recipe from raw almonds, and very cool to learn that the recipe hasn’t changed much from medieval times! The almond pudding was wonderfully refreshing and light. I brought the almond milk and almond pudding to a gathering with friends, and received many compliments!

What an amazing experience. Fabio and Annarella shared his family almond, citrus and olive farm and talked about how they have created a home fully conserving for the environment. The recipes they taught were super yummy and it was great to learn the old style of making almond milk (put away that high speed blender - you wont be making the milk in the blender). The almond pudding was yummy and easy to make as well. I really enjoyed the experience and it reminds me how beautiful the Sicily area is and how kind the people are. I would like to sign up again for the experience with some friends in a private session. I look forward to it.

Fabio and Annarella hosted my work team for a delightful almond milk and almond pudding class. While we were excited for the activity, the stories they told of their land and how they grow everything was spectacular. They offered incredible suggestions for related recipes, other activities, and more. I would absolutely take this class again or any of the other experiences they offer.

This was a great experience to allow me and my wife to be take a trip to an Italian farm even if it was only for an hour. I would highly recommend the experience to allow your mind to go somewhere else during Covid
