This adorable guesthouse has lots of old New Orleans charm. The outdoor space has a hot tub (clothing required) and an outdoor shower. The yard is shared with a cat and 2 dogs; who live in the main house. House is built and furnished almost entirely with reused products.
Our 19th-century double Creole cottage is a cozy one-bedroom escape in the heart of the Bywater Historic District. There are countless coffee spots, bars, restaurants, and local shops all within a few blocks. Frenchman Street is right next door and the French Quarter is just a touch further. Victorian home on Esplanade Avenue, in the heart of one of New Orleans' most historic neighborhoods: Esplanade Ridge/Treme. The Creole Cottage is nestled behind the main house (circa 1850) and was originally the servant's quarters. Guests gain access to the Cottage through a secured gate at the side of the main house which leads through a luscious garden and courtyard. Inside, historical features include original french doors, wood floors, soaring ceilings, and loads of character and charm.
