Della Lucy Farm….Come and join us for an intimate and educational experience on the day and the life of an Alpaca, Llama and Goat caregiver! We provide an opportunity for people 5 and older to feed and pet our 30 plus alpacas and llamas and a guided walk with our adorable goats! In addition we will share some unique and educational information regarding camelids, goats! We may also stop to greet our unique and crazy flock of chickens! Book a private experience!! We have limited availability during the week, however can accommodate larger groups via request Other things to note Please wear appropriate shoes (sorry no Flip flops or sandals) or bring an extra pair! We do have a public restroom and do have facilities to wash up before and after your experience. Our event is for children 5 and up. Established in 2014, me and my team have proudly been the first to operate Speakeasy experiences in NYC. We will take you to 3 completely concealed and hidden establishments. All 3 locations are completely hidden, no obvious bars in between. Some through vault doors with a required code and some that are down an alleys with multiple doors where you would need to know which door to open. Some even have all the drinks still in tea cups in case the police would raid them back in 1920's and was featured in the TV show Boardwalk Empire for its historical accurate decor and atmosphere. We provide historical facts by history teachers with educational and tour guide licenses. Our facts are solely from cross referenced academic sources. We furthermore work in conjunction NYC City Hall and the NYC Hall of Records to ensure the authenticity of the historical claims by each establishment we visit. We are Liberty Hill Farm, in Rochester, Vermont! Tours run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9 am. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests the opportunity to experience daily farm life. Guests will be able to watch the cow milking process and even try their hand at milking! From there, we will explain the journey from cow to milk jug. Guests will learn about the different ages and stages of the dairy cow, from birth through adulthood. We will meet, pet, and even feed baby calves, explore the barns, and meet kitties. Every tour is adjusted to meet the needs and interests of our guests. We encourage our guests to participate hands-on, and encourage questions and ideas! We simply love to share our love of farming and our animals with others! ***All proceeds from our farm tours go directly to our nonprofit organization, Liberty Hill Center for Agricultural Education. *** Other things to note: I only book about a month in advance, so if your preferred date does not appear, check back! Tours will be held rain or shine! I only cancel if temperatures are below zero, so please plan accordingly! It is up to the guest to check weather reports.
