Shorewinds is a delightful beach house on the shores of Lake Michigan. The property site is unique. It has its own garden gate which leads one down the beach path to the steps of the beach. There are no roads to cross between the home and beach. Shorewinds cottage rents for a 3-night min. in Winter, Spring, Fall. Summer season requires a 7 night/8 day stay. The off seasons are a great time to tour the Wineries, Breweries , Art Galleries and experience Snow Shoeing at the Dunes State Park.

Prostor
Shorewinds is a second home , therefore, it has many amenities that normal rentals would not have. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, serving items, 2 grills , both a propane gas and a kettle weber grill , beach toys, beach chairs and umbrella, out door seating.
Extra towels and linen are provided for your weekly use.A washer and dryer and a laundry center is provided.
Family games and books are left for your pleasure.
The owner requires a GUEST OCCUPANCY AGREEMENT in addition to your Air B and B payment and reservation. Once your reservation is secured through the Air BnB website, you will then provide the host with your name, address, home phone number, your e mail address, your make of car and license. This contract will be sent to you to sign as a binding contract between you and the host.

We are a quaint and quiet beach town community. We have a local bakery, a local grocery store, a local post office. We have many restaurants and ice cream parlors to choose from. Our sister towns of New Buffalo and Sawyer provide our guests with close by options for groceries, shopping and antiquing. There are many ice cream parlors and shops for family fun. Other local activities feature kayaking on the river, wake board rentals, fishing rentals with a licensed Captain and Sunset private cruises on Lake Michigan.
The back road farm lands provide guests with berry picking when in season.
Our 7 local wine vineyards provide guests with locations for wine tasting experience on the guided wine trail.
We also have several breweries known for their crafted beers.

I love large bodies of fresh water, salt water and coastal waters with view of sunrise and sunset. I gravitate to water and the water's edge. Why not share the passion of water with the love of interior design? Marry the two together and create a concept, hense, Coastal Concept Inc. a design build company of Coastal Living!
Vacation plans are always made around water and the view of water. Boating and sailing are a favorite past time when I am not working at Coastal Concepts Inc. and Arquilla Designs Interiors.
It is my great pleasure to offer " The Shorewinds Beach house" which is a property I own on the water's edge of the Great Lake Michigan. It is a unique 10,000 square foot exterior property site on Lake Shore Rd. with private grounds and private parking. The grounds offer an abundance of nature, solitude and tranquility while also offering an unbelieve location to the shore and beach. The property has a garden gate which opens to the beach path and the beach steps which are paces away. Once outside the garden gate you have views of the beach path and water. There are no roads to cross between you and the beach. Location, Location, Location!
My goal in designing the home and grounds were to have enough space for family and friends to kick back and relax while at the shore.Shorewinds amenities are many including a new stone fire pit and a hot and cold stainless steel exterior beach shower.
I wanted the house to be carefree and not very serious in posture. The design is easy, cozy and relaxing. The home marries both old world cottage and new amenities for comfort and function.The colors are happy and playful. I wanted the home to be totally fun and joyful where families will create memories to cherish. It is all "Good "while at the little beach (Website hidden by Airbnb) has great karma and a heart beat all its own.
I have 9 years of experience with our Shorewinds clientele with a 5 star rating in the last 6 yrs. ( Please ask for my home website for all 9 years of positive reviews.)

Listen to the birds, watch the deer, hear the waves, wittness the most glorious sunset and restore peacefulness to their minds and bodies. Bring only what you absolutely need ( clothing and food) as everything else has been thought of for your experince. You are welcome to experience peace, joy, love, laughter and harmony of nature.
