Flat Out Indy I is on the ✶ground floor✶. PARKING is FREE and just behind the building - a real bonus in downtown Indy! It is contemporary yet cozy and has a spacious setting. Much more than a hotel room yet just a nice; Flat Out Indy I gives you room to spread out in a suite type atmosphere.

The owners live close and keep a close eye out if you need something in a pinch. We are just blocks away from Massachusetts Avenue, a bustling street with restaurants, nightclubs and shops. You are within walking distance or a short drive from all that is happening downtown. Check out our photos for distances to popular sites and venues.

The apartment is in the same block as the Cultural Trail; a world-class urban bike and pedestrian path that connects neighborhoods, Cultural Districts and entertainment.

There is a separate bedroom with a new and comfortable king bed with amazing linens. Note that there is a back door (covered with a curtain) that is securely locked; this door is to stay locked and is not to be used.

You will find a common living room/kitchenette with a fold out sofa. Also note there is a locked basement door and there is no street access from that basement.

The kitchenette has everything you need to cook some basic meals. Instead of a stove, we have a two burner hotplate and toaster oven. You will a Keurig with coffee, tea and hot chocolate K-cups.

Our goal is to offer you comfortable accommodations to enjoy our lovely/lively/diverse Indy.

I am a designer and my husband is a sculptor. We are both very busy people, having our own businesses, but we still make time to have fun.
Scott and I kayak, practice yoga or walk our dog Kiko daily. In my spare time I enjoy my family in Indianapolis ( ten grandchildren and three children) and friends. I love to cook, tend my plants and gardens, cook and read - novels, love spy , mystery and action genre/ a good sci fi!

Our aibnb's, Flat Out Indy I and II are in a 1950's building that we remodeled in 2018. The goal was to create a space with a retro/industrial feel that is comfortable, spacious and lends itself to conversation.

We like to be proactive so if you have any issues or problems we prefer you let us know immediately during your stay so that we can find a resolution.

A day or so before your arrival I will send keycodes, directions and parking instructions via the Airbnb messaging App. Please confine your communication between 8am and 10pm. However if there is an issue, check the binder first where you might find your answer. If not definitely text or call so we can resolve ASAP (no time is too early or late).
You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
