This Room has Queen bed, private bathroom, Flat screen smartTV , HBOMax, Netflix , Prime, Hulu, high-speed internet, cable, fridge, freezer, coffee station, microwave and small table. We are still not comfortable sharing the kitchen .
Feel free to use the wooded private deck in the back. Quiet and safe neighborhood , and easy free parking. Many restaurants, Trader Joe’s, shopping and large park very close by ! Easy access to the interstate just minutes from the house .

Prostor
The room is part of a large ranch home where I live . I try to give guests plenty of privacy and space so when I know you are coming I can greet you if desired but keyless entry means you can self-check. The room is on the first room on the right side of the hallway . We have another room listed on Airbnb that is at the end of the hall and on the left . My partner Brian and I sleep in the basement room to give our guests more space and privacy . There is a private bathroom , and other amenities in the room are cable /smart TV , microwave, table, coffee pot , mini fridge with separate freezer, reading lights , extra pillows and blankets.
The deck is nice in the evening , just let us know if you want to hang out there so we can give you space . Brian and I are fully vaccinated. Please wear a face mask in the common areas if you have illness or if you have been exposed to illness , since Brian has immune deficiency.

West town Mall, West Hills Park, Interstate 40 just a minute away. Trader Joe’s a minute away and great place for an affordable salad or meal to heat and eat in the room. Great store that we highly recommend!
UT is about a 10 minute drive in normal traffic . Downtown is just 12 minutes away .
Use the Trader Joe’s or West Hills Park (even closer ) when determining how far we are from points of interest .

I am a cellist with the Knoxville Symphony , and teach private cello lessons at the house part time . I have an active life but enjoy providing an affordable and peaceful stay at the home where I live .
My partner Brian lives with me and is my co-host .
Our kids are grown and flown from the nest. I love people , and happy to interact when I am not busy, but also respect privacy if you want to be left alone. We have self-checkin for everyone’s convenience !
We provide a mini fridge and coffee pot , microwave and table. Brian or I are usually nearby if anything else is needed.
You may hear me practicing my cello but when guests are around I try to keep it quiet. I enjoy the nearby park , tennis courts , greenway, and YMCA with outdoor pool .
I am lived in Knoxville for almost 25 years and can honestly say it is a great place to live or visit . Plus so close to the Smokey Mountains!!

Love to interact when I am not busy working but respect privacy if that is preferred! There is plenty of room in the house if social distancing is preferred . I am always happy to say hello and greet guests , but it is also fine just to come on in and go straight to your room without interaction if preferred since it is self-checkin . There may be another guest in our other Airbnb room , which is across and down the hall from this room .
