Designed as a space friendly for children. The concrete floors are forgiving of accidental spills. The view from the covered deck allows for nature without interruption. Eagles, deer, geese, ducks, King Fishers and Blue Heron live in or around Hunter's Creek. Silver Lake is a short three blocks away and the dune buggy park entrance is 1.5 miles. Lake Michigan beaches and Silver Lake beach are also close by.

The cottage has central heating and cooling. The fireplace provides extra warmth during those cool evenings. You can also rent the log home next door if you need to double your sleeping accommodations, but book early so you can get both.

I am a retired educator using summer vacation property to stay busy during the year. You will find me ready to help you enjoy your stay. I live a short drive from the properties and will meet you in a very short while. I very much enjoy greeting my guests and answering any question they may about the area. I have spent much of my life in this area and I find it one of the most beautiful places in the US.

I enjoy woodworking and maintaining property. Cutting a lawn, raking leaves or shoveling snow are great forms of exercise and I need all I can get. The bookshelves in the cabin or cottage are lined with the types of books my wife and I enjoy. There are many spy, action packed adventures to read in case it rains. Games are also available.

Rhonda enjoys nursing at a local doctor's office and sewing. Rhonda often joins me when greeting our guests and is very knowledgable about the area.

A phone call will have me available to correct any issue within my control. I live within 30 minutes of the Red Cottage. I may greet you and answer any questions you may have about the area. I have spent the majority of my life in this area and I find it one of the best vacation spots in the US. Upon arrival, I must collect 6% Michigan Sales Tax on the rent and Cleaning Fee. I will accept cash or check for this state mandated collection.
