AZURE ROOM is a modern, clean and comfortable room in a recently renovated, gorgeous modern apartment with ton of sunlight.

This spacious private room is a fantastic space for your stay in Boston. Comfortably sleeps two with a luxurious, brand-new queen size bed & lots of special design touches. As you arrive, your room will be waiting for you.

This room is on the 2nd floor. Please note that you're renting a SINGLE PRIVATE BEDROOM within a larger house. You'll have a secure lock and a key for your own bedroom, so you can lock it when you leave for the day (or when you're there).

All of the common areas are available for your enjoyment. The living room and coffee corner provide a great place to relax after a day of exploring Boston, connect with other guests that may be staying at the same time, or just read a book on a couch.

Our kitchen is available to all of our guests. You can use the fridge and all of the appliances while you're here as well!

There are 2 full and one half bathrooms in the house which are cleaned each day as well.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What linens are included?
We provide all linens for beds, including 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels per bedroom.

2. What household supplies are provided?
We provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Toilet paper and hand soap are also provided. Additionally, you can also find paper towels in the kitchen, dishwasher detergent and dish soap.

3.What does the kitchen include?
The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen: toaster, microwave, fridge, oven, stove, various size pots & pans, kettle. We do have a Keurig coffee machine, although we do not provide the K-Cups (guests are welcome to bring their own).

4.Do you allow pets?
No. We do not allow pets under any circumstances.

5.What time is check-in and check-out?
You can check in any time after 4:00 PM and you must check-out no later than 11:00 AM. In case you are arriving late, it’s not a problem -- as it’s self check in, you can come at any time as long as it’s after 4:00pm.

6.Is an early check in possible?
We don’t allow earlier check-ins as we do need time to prepare the house before your arrival.

7.What does “private room” mean?
You are booking a private bedroom inside a shared house. We do have other rooms in the house that are also rented to other Airbnb guests, so there will be other people in the house during your stay. Common facilities, such as bathrooms and kitchens, are all shared.

8.How many bathrooms are in the house?
We have 3 - two full baths upstairs and one half bath downstairs.

9.How often are the common areas cleaned?
Every day. Our housekeeper arrives daily to clean and sanitize the common areas of the house.

10.How fast is the internet?
Our download speed is as fast as 175Mbps. The service is super reliable and the wifi reaches all areas of the house including all bedrooms. We have had a lot of guests that are traveling for work and they do their work from home with no issues.

11.Do you offer laundry?
No, we do have laundry machines in the house but they are only available for housekeepers' use, as we do the laundry for all the bedding there. You can find several laundromats within walking distance of the house. Once you book and if you need the location, I can share it with you.

12.How does the parking work?
We do have free street parking around, but you have to look at the signs. A couple of blocks away, you’ll find signs that offer free unlimited non-resident parking after 8pm and on weekends, as well as 2-hour free parking during regular hours. Please note that guests park at their own risk. Over 50% of our guests arrive with a vehicle and it’s typically no problem.
If you are not comfortable parking on the street or cannot find a spot, there are paid parking lots available within walking distance.

13. Is my room safe?
Absolutely, your room will have a lock so you can close and lock it when you leave or while you’re in the room. If you need anything, we’re just a message away.

This neighborhood is Boston's best kept secret!

Just a 10 minute walk to the subway station and you're in downtown in just 2 short stops. Easy, inexpensive and convenient.

But don't leave East Boston too soon either! Check out the beautiful parks (Piers Park is our favorite, with an amazing view of downtown and free concerts in the Summer), grab some food at many inexpensive and delicious restaurants within the area, and feel like a local - no need to worry about getting "tourist" prices on whatever you need to buy.

Looking to go somewhere in particular? An Uber Pool ride will take you anywhere for <$10 - great way to get around too!

Hi there!

We are Boris and Susan - a young, professional couple living in Boston.

I (Boris) is originally from Lithuania and Susan is from China - and we've been living in Boston for the last 6+ years.

I'm an entrepreneur and an avid traveler. My work focuses on startups and the transportation sector. In the past, I've been a part of the first person-to-person carsharing startup that helped people share their cars with neighbors (think Airbnb + Zipcar). After that, I have founded - and currently run - an electric bike company called EVELO that makes it easier for people to get around wherever they live.

Susan works as a marketing professional at a larger company and is a huge photography buff. Many of the photos you'll see in our apartment are the ones done by her in our travels.

We both love to travel ourselves and try to stay at Airbnb wherever we go. Over the last few years, we've traveled together to Africa, Cuba, Iceland, Eastern and Western Europe, and Asia - as much as possible we love to incorporate travel in our lifestyle.

We wanted to share our apartment with Airbnb guests as a way to pay back the incredibly hospitality and experiences we've encountered ourselves during our travels. We know what it's like to come to a new place for the first time and our goal is to provide you with a wonderful, cozy and unique place to stay and advice and feedback that you would expect from a friend.
