This place is magical. If you want peace and quiet on the island, surrounded by frozen lake and pure tranquility.
Only one small wooden cottage in the middle of the great Lake Inari. Here you can enjoy the beauty of nature and forget the hurry. This can be an unforgettable experience, both challenging and charming.
You are welcomed by the northern lights. Just enjoy the calm winter nights by the fireplace and in the sauna.
I'll take you over with a snowmobile or with a boat.

Prostor
Cottage with kitchen / living room and sleeping alcove, entrance and the sauna. The cottage has a large wood-heated fireplace. Fire logs are stored outside.
There is no electricity You can use oil lamps and candles for lights. The phone battery can be charged with a separate battery.
The room is equipped with a double bed and two single beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets or alternatively sleeping bags and sheets and towels
The kitchen has all the utensils and a gas stove, as well as basic food items such as salt, oil, sugar. There is also a table and 4 chairs. The entrance has a gas fridge.
Separate outhouse toilet, no heating
The wood-fired sauna heats up quickly. There is no other bathroom. Water heats up simultaneously in a tank attached to the heater. Also note this when you need hot water to wash the dishes.
The water is retrieved from the lake by a hole drilled on ice with an ice auger.
The terrace has a gas BBQ and furniture.

The neighboring islands are not inhabited during winter.
The distance to the parking lot is 8 km.
To the supermarket 30 km, that’s why it is important to buy all necessary stuff before departing to the island.

Laid back owner born and raised in Ivalo. I can give great advice for enjoying Ivalo in its fullest!

Tokom boravka

NOTE. The cottage is located on the island. There is no road to the cottage. The parking lot is 8 kilometres away.
I live in a centre of Ivalo. I'll meet you in my home and we can agree on a schedule. For the snowmobile drive to the island I’ll give you suitable clothes and helmets to wear. Beware that the weather can be really cold.
You can also leave some of your luggage for storage that you don't need on the island.
We travel 20 km by car, after which we will go to the cottage with a snowmobile, the distance is 8 km.
When we get on the island, i'll give you a short guidance how to get along, after that I will return to Ivalo.
The day you leave the island, I will pick you up as agreed.
If your arrival time to Ivalo is very late, you have the possibility to stay at my home, where I can offer you a private bedroom for a fee, other facilities are shared with me. This is also possible the day when you leave Ivalo.
I will be available 24/7 while you are on the island.
In the summer time I will take you to the island with a boat.
