One bedroom studio sits in a wide open area. However, it is not secluded. There is a barn that sits to the southwest of the Firefly. The driveway is shared by us, the owners, and you the guests. Our cabin sits 200 feet to the south of the Firefly. If you need us we are here.

Stay for a much needed break during the week or weekend.

Start a new tradition this summer, take a quick break from life to solo snuggle under comforters or with that someone special. Read that book you've been wanting to for the past year. Watch the fireflies dance in the moonlight (during firefly season July 1 - August 15 this time frame varies some each year) lulling you into a deep restful slumber. Break the urban blues with a country weekend or week night retreat.

Please join our CSA...Community Supported Agriculture. Our CSA is open to any and everyone looking for real, nutritious, mineral rich and caloric dense farm raised food. Purchase farm fresh eggs, produce (in season) and meats grown using organic and regenerative practices. Please ask us how this abundant food CSA works.
Also, please know that all proceeds from your stay at the Firefly go back into the farm, animals, gardens, hay field, pond and the Firefly itself. We are so very grateful to our guests for helping to make this farm successful!

Great place to work remotely. There is wifi with an extender so you won't miss that important zoom meeting, and a table for your laptop.

When the work day is done and if you're so inclined, partake of your favorite cannabis edible or step outside on the deck and smoke an indica, sativa or cbd of your choice.

Enjoy walking our woods and meadow, forest bathing is encouraged here. Take in the sights of wildflowers, butterflies and wildlife ( in season).
Our flock of ducks, chickens and geese and are sure to do something silly to make you smile. Or the pigs will wait by the fence patiently waiting for an apple or other tasty treat.

The town of Hastings is just 10 minutes away. State Street Diner or The Riverwalk Cafe are great for breakfast or lunch the Walldorff Brew Pub and Bistro or the Seasonal Grill for lunch or dinner. Klosterman's Bar and Grill on Jefferson St has delicious fried chicken and great bar staff.
For something out of the ordinary try Grimsbyhollowmeadery.com Their Mead Tasting Room is just up Rt M-37N in Middleville MI. You're sure to find a mead to please your palate. Try the samples then purchase a bottle to bring back to the Firefly with you. When you return to the Firefly uncork, unwind and relax.

Hi,
Welcome to Victoria's Garden Farm. Victoria is a Navy veteran and the owner and me, Elena, help her around the farm. I love to go camping, and I love nature and wildlife. I like to garden and grow all kinds of plants, perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs etc. I also use herbs in medicinal remedies. I like a good board game every now and then and helping Victoria with her carpentry and custom lighting, she has custom made many items in the cabin and Firefly tiny home.
You'll find we are very laid back hosts . We do like when guests communicate often and ask questions before or during their stay. Remember there are no stupid questions so please ask.
Its our goal for you to have an enjoyable experience whether staying for pleasure, business or both. We think you'll have a magical time full of wonder and awe!

We stay on the farm and are available if you have any questions or needs.
There are three farm dogs, 4 cats and a flock of chickens, ducks, geese and 5 American Guinea Hogs on the property. The animals are easily seen from the windows of the Firefly, however, they live in their own area.
The dogs will probably greet you sometime during your stay, they are very social and love a good back rub. The cats are a tease ... they say pet me with your eyes only.... lol
We stay on the farm and are available if you have any questions or needs.
