Modern, one bedroom condo located in a historic home with a beautiful, private deck and yard, right in the heart of Grand Haven, make this a little hidden gem. With off-street parking there is no need to move the car as the riverfront, parks, splash pad, musical fountain, brewpubs, shopping, museums and countless restaurants are all within a few blocks.

Modern and compact, this updated space has a diminutive but comfortable layout. There is an open kitchen, living area and dining table with a separate bedroom and bathroom/laundry area. The bathroom has a stand-up shower and stacked laundry. Ceramic tile and hard wood floors are throughout. A free standing cast iron gas stove provides great ambiance and heat when needed. The bedroom has a queen bed with built-in closet. The private deck with a lush yard, in a great location, are highlights of this place. A Weber gas grill is available for guest use.

I grew up in the area and spent my youth frolicking on the beaches of Grand Haven! I married my husband, Paul, in 1992 and "coerced" him to move out to this fabulous town. When our kids, Isabel and Max, were young, I quit teaching high school English. Paul and I bought distressed properties, cleaned them up and began a weekly rental business in downtown Grand Haven.
This is our 20th year of renting and we absolutely love it. It's wonderful meeting guests from all over the world, learning about their lives and doing my best to provide an impeccably clean, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable temporary home while they're exploring and experiencing our sweet town.
After having great success with our rental properties, The Franklin House and The Maxwell House, we decided to create a condo in the lower level of our dream house that we built 16 years ago. As we are now empty nesters, what better way to make use of our house!
