This is the place to be if you love peace, solitude, and the outdoors. This cabin is located just 5 minutes from downtown Chama in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall ponderosa pines. Enjoy the outdoors whether it is relaxing on the wrap-around covered deck or recreating in the Sargents Wildlife Area. There is a fireplace, outdoor fire pit, horsehoes, and grill for guests to enjoy as well. Wildlife are often spotted around the property, including deer, turkeys, elk and the occasional bear.

This 1400 square foot cabin is the perfect getaway for those looking for a quiet retreat in the mountains. The inside of the cabin is small but has everything guests need and the fully wrapped around deck with patio furniture is a great place to enjoy the wonderful mountain weather that we get in Chama. Or stay inside and get a fire going in the wood burning stove. There is enough parking for those pulling trailers to haul horses, ATV's, or snowmobiles. Guests are also close enough to either walk, bike, or horseback ride into Sargents without having to drive as well.

The cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood just barely outside of downtown. Guests feel like they are in the country but only a minute away from restaurants and amenities. The neighborhood is in the middle of a large ponderosa pine forest, which keeps it very cool in the summer.

Lloyd and Lisa here! We are so excited to be hosting you in our mountain house located in beautiful Chama, New Mexico. We have loved raising our family here in the northern New Mexico mountains and hope you enjoy this little piece of paradise as we have. We recommend morning coffee on the deck, hiking the Sargent's Wildlife Area just a couple minutes walk from the property, and sitting under the clear starry night sky and whispering pines in our little meadow.
