Enviably located in the heart of St Andrews, seconds from the magnificent St. Salvators chapel, our contemporary, fully renovated first floor apartment offers the perfect solution for your visit to St Andrews. Only two minutes walk to Market Street, and equidistant to the Old Course and Abbey in less than seven minutes. Offering flexibility for up to 4 guests, with twin & superking bedrooms.

Part of our highly regarded Contemporary Collection, our first-floor two-bed apartment in Johnston Court puts you in the heart of St Andrews, but benefits from many compelling features, not least of which is secure on-site parking.

Set on North Street opposite the university library and close to many key faculty buildings, the apartment is only a few seconds from the beautiful and iconic 15th century St. Salvators Chapel. Two minutes walk sees you arrive in Market Street, the town's main street, offering an eclectic mix of restaurants, pubs and retail. If golf is the reason for your visit the R&A Clubhouse is around a seven minute walk from our front door!

The apartment is arranged with a sizeable and sunny south facing sitting room. A brand-new fully featured kitchen offers dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge & freezer. The sizeable shower room features attractive, quality ceramics and large walk-in shower. Two bright and spacious double bedrooms with ample storage complete the main accommodation, one featuring an en-suite shower room complete with sink and WC. One of the bedrooms may be configured as a twin or superking. Fitted with high efficiency double glazing & gas central heating, the space also benefits from unlimited WiFi Internet and Sky Q TV including a full Sports subscription.

The property is accessed from a secure main front door on ground level and up stairs to the first floor.

Secure (barrier-entry) on-site courtyard car parking for ONE vehicle is an enormous benefit for those arriving by car, particularly in busy periods as on-street parking is limited and ticketing rules inconvenient and costly.

As you would expect, the apartment is serviced prior to your arrival by professional contractors and fitted with professionally supplied hotel quality linen and towels.

Johnston Court is the perfect choice for a short or long stay in St Andrews.


Standard bedroom configuration is one twin and one super king. The super king may be arranged as an additional twin upon request when making your reservation.

There is construction on an adjacent site. This is due to complete at the end of June so the majority of works from May onward will be internal to the new buildings. This has not caused any issues for our guests throughout the build.

Check-in from 4PM onwards using the on-site key-box. Unfortunately, as we operate multiple busy properties serviced by an external cleaning contractor, we are no longer able to offer changes to arrival or departure times without an additional expedite charge. Any changes are subject to availability and should be requested at time of booking.

THE OPEN GOLF: this property is available to book for the event in July 2022. As Airbnb is unable to offer time-bound changes in cancellation policy we are accepting reservations direct. The minimum booking is 7-nights between the 8th and 19th of July, but longer stays can be arranged. The headline rate advertised on Airbnb for this period is correct. No service charges apply.
