Comfy & Quiet are the key words to our home! The Blue Room has one queen sized bed for 1 or 2 people, and a shared bathroom with other guests.
This is a nice place for a quick visit or a longer stay.

Our home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood and our neighbors are counting on us to keep it that way. You'll stay in a private room with a queen sized bed, 2 nightstands, mini fridge, microwave, single serve Keurig, and filtered water pitcher. Surge protector on both sides of the bed for your electronics. We don't have cable but the smart tv has Hulu Live so you can watch regular tv or log into your personal favorite apps. In the closet you'll find hangers, a luggage table, a folding chair & tray, extra blanket, a full length mirror, and towels & washcloths, and an iron w/ironing board. The room darkening curtains and the sound machine will assure you get the rest you deserve while you're here.
The shower has a curved curtain rod to create more space inside the tub. There is a hair dryer and most essentials in the bathroom for your use. If the Blue Room & Comfy Room are both booked, you'll be sharing the bathroom with other guests but we haven't had any issues with that.
Please let us know if there is anything else you need that we may have forgotten.
There is a lock on the bedroom door if you want to use it. $10 fee for replacement keys so be careful not to lose it!
The front porch swing is a nice place to relax. There is no smoking of any kind on the premises.
Guests do not have access to the downstairs/kitchen, back yard, or laundry room.

Our neighborhood is a 3 minute drive off the main road (Market St) which has a Starbucks, BoJangles, Burger King, Publix supermarket, Smoothie King; and is 3 minutes behind The Ice House skating rink and Ogden Park. In that same area is 2 local bars that have live music (or trivia/karaoke/etc...) most nights of the week. There's also a Walmart 7 mins up the road, as well as fast-food & dine-in restaurants, and the usual shopping franchises. 15 minutes in the other direction is Mayfaire Shopping Center with lots of great shops, restaurants, and a movie theater.
Wrightsville Beach has 44 public access points, the closest being 15ish minutes from us. Carolina, Kure, Topsail are all 45ish minutes away, and Fort Fisher (also great aquarium there) is an hour’s drive …all depending on traffic.
That makes our place really convenient for travel, yet safe & not noisy or busy.
We have really great neighbors so please don't disturb them by loitering, getting dressed at your car, cleaning out your car, hanging laundry, exercising outside, etc... Yes, some guests have done those things, so unfortunately, it needed to be said. You're welcome to sit & relax on the front porch swing!

We are both reachable through the AirBnB website messaging (which is what they prefer), as well as our cell phones which are posted in your room with the wifi information.
