Trelaske Manor B&B features 2 luxurious Suites on ground floor level, each with its own en-suite bathroom and shower. Renovated to a high standard. Each Suite has a double bed, dressing table, wardrobe, wall mounted TV, tea & coffee making facilities and high speed WiFi. There is free and secure parking outside, within the walled and gated courtyard to the Manor. With its own entrance at the front and access to a private patio at the rear, overlooking our extensive grounds at the rear.

Trelaske Manor offers total tranquillity in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and is steeped in history. It was originally the stables to Trelaske Estate which is listed in the Doomsday Book. It is first recorded in the time of Richard II (1377-99) and was owned by the Upton family until 1541. It was subsequently owned by the Archer family, hence the name of the Archer Arms, a hostelry in Lewannick, some ½ mile away.
Your hosts, Mark & Paula Pearson, bought Trelaske Manor in June 2018. It was in a poor state of repair, having been neglected for some 2 years. Your hosts have painstakingly and lovingly refurbished the property to be able to offer you a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay.
The Manor House and Cottage is set in 2 ½ acres and overlook rolling green fields and guests can enjoy strolls across the unspoiled countryside. We also have a quaint waterfall situated in the south west corner of our adjoining field.
Guests have full access to front and rear gardens and our adjoining land and we are pet friendly!
Other things to note
Concern for the safety of our guests is of paramount importance, so we have implemented a number of new measures based on best advice and government recommendations to provide this assurance, whilst the pandemic continues.
leaning & Sanitising: Whilst we have always performed an extensive and thorough clean of the cottage between guests, a full sanitisation has also been introduced. We have invested in a commercially recommended sanitisation atomising machine, together with a BAC 5 Antiviral and Antibacterial disinfectant that will reach all surfaces: walls, ceilings, carpets, windows, handles, furniture, surfaces, carpets etc, to ensure that any lingering bacteria is killed. The disinfectant is currently being used by public transportation providers to disinfect vehicles. It is a mixture of Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), DDAC 50 and Tetrasodium EDTA with deionised water and has been tested extensively and is highly effective at killing a wide range of potentially harmful infectious bacteria and preventing the spread of disease.
Hand Sanitiser, Antibacterial Wipes, Disposable Gloves & Antibacterial Spray are provided free of charge in the property.
As a temporary measure we have removed the Guest & Visitors Handbooks and will provide an electronic version when a guest confirms their booking. We have also temporarily removed the book & DVD library and the various games that were provided in the property.
Self-Check-In: Keys are stored in the key lock-box by the front door. The code will be advised once a reservation is confirmed. Both the lock-box and the keys are sanitised during each guest turnaround.

Lewannick Village is a 15-minute walk (1/2 mile away). It is renowned to be one of the liveliest villages in the area with many activities arranged throughout the year. Cinema, village fetes, pantomime etc. There is a small children’s play area, situated behind the village hall car park. The village publish a monthly Newsletter advertising events.
The Archer Arms:
The landlords, Rob & Gemma, provide a very warm welcome.
Open Daily from 12am until close, normally 10:30’ish, depending on how many guests are there! They serve food most lunchtimes and every evening, except Sunday. A copy of their menu is on display on the hallway dresser and they have a specials board, Wed thru Saturday. Monday nights is Meal Deal (£5 per head), Tuesday is Steak Night (£10 per head, including free drink). Sunday lunchtime they provide a roast (from £6.50). It is very popular, so booking is recommended. The first Saturday of each month they host a full English breakfast (£4 +). You can also order food for take away.
There is normally a live band playing once a month and they also host a quiz night (every other Sunday), Darts on a Monday and a poker night, normally every other week.
Village Store, Off-licence & Post Office:
Store & Off-licence opening hours Mon – Saturday 7am to 7pm. Sunday 09 am to 1pm.
Post Office opening hours Monday – Friday 9am to 5:30pm. Saturday 9am to 12:30 pm.
Coombeshead Farm:
Just down the lane from Trelaske Manor, a 5-minute walk, is the renowned venue, owned and run by chef Tom Adams. His fields adjoin ours, so you can also reach Coombeshead Farm by walking over the fields. Their award-winning menu is available from Thursday thru Sunday, featuring fine dining in the evenings and also Sunday lunch. They also have 5 sumptuous bedrooms available for bed & breakfast. Launceston: The Capital of Cornwall is just 7 miles away (15-minute drive) eastbound on the A30. It is an historic castle town that hosts many large stores, such as Tesco, Lidl, Iceland, Marks & Spencers Food Store, B&M, Argos, Costa Coffee, Pets at Home etc. Boots chemist and Banks are located in the town centre.
Bodmin: 18 miles (20-minute drive) westbound on the A30 also has some large stores such as Asda, Sainsburys, Lidl, B&M, Homebase, Halfords etc.
