Your mountain getaway awaits at the Retreat at Angel Fire! Enjoy one of our 10 private cabins nestled on 12 wooded acres. No shared walls or outdated condos -instead enjoy a quaint cabin in the woods. The perfect place to unwind in quiet serenity, connect with nature and simply relax.

Watch wildlife from your covered front deck while enjoying the crisp mountain air and listening to the hum of the wind in the aspens throughout the property. It’s not uncommon to see deer grazing or napping in the field, or see turkeys wandering through the property. In winter months, we have sleds for kids to romp and play. In the summer, hunt for pinecones and enjoy wandering the property and the beautiful outdoors. Take in the majestic southern Rocky Mountains, towering pines and crisp cool mountain air. Grill dinner out on one of our conveniently located propane grills (propane provided). Have s'mores in our signature chiminea and just enjoy time with family and friends.

The Retreat has direct access to Carson National Forest at the back of our property for hiking and biking without having to even get in the car. Located just 4 miles from the Village center, we are just minutes away from hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, skiing and so much more. We offer on-site management to ensure all your needs can be immediately met.

Your fully furnished cabin provides the perfect place to unwind and relax and includes a full kitchen and satellite TV. We have supplied premium linens and new kitchen items including new stoneware dishes, glasses, and cooking/bakeware. We have a full compliment of small appliances available for guest use including crock pots, cappuccino maker, hand mixers, coffee grinders, Keurig coffee maker, and more (just ask our on-site management for these items when you check in). We also provide a fully stocked coffee bar including New Mexico pinion coffee, herbal teas, hot chocolate, sweeteners and creamers.

Important Notice: The cabin requires a 4 wheel drive for access in the winter months (November - April). Furthermore, we highly recommend that anyone visiting Angel Fire in winter months get snow chains in the event of snow packed roads.

Nelisa, Dean, Donna and Grant are pleased to offer the Chalet Penthouse. This is a family owned and operated property. We have owned and managed rental properties in Austin, Texas for over 10 years. As life-long skiers and mountain lovers, we are excited to offer the Chalet Penthouse.

Having a large extended family, we have traveled around the world, staying in vacation rentals. We are thrilled to bring the benefit of our experience as property managers and our experience as consumers of vacation rentals to you. We understand property management, and more importantly we know whats important to our guests when it comes to expectations for a vacation rental.

We have seen and stayed in incredible vacation rentals, and have stayed in some that need improvement. We have incorporated ideas from the best rentals we have stayed in as we purchased, remodeled and furnished the Chalet Penthouse. We also know what not to do. We strive to provide you with the highest quality vacation experience.
