The Dome is at 977 Springfield Road in Wilmington at the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge. The rest room door (the north entrance to the log cabin Refuge Welcome Center) is about 100 feet away from the Dome door, and there's a Porta Potty for emergencies, about 50 feet away. The Rest Room has a shower, sink, toilet and washer-dryer. There is an outside fresh water pedestal, right next to the Wolf Cabin and Wolf Enclosure, about 30 feet northwest of the front door, and a propane grill in front of the Dome. Everyone who stays in the Dome has to have been vaccinated. All surfaces will be wiped with Clorox wipes, all sheets and towels will have been laundered in hot water. The Dome features heat, a microwave, hot-cold water dispenser, small fridge, WiFi and flat screen. There is no running water in the Dome itself. To access the wood sauna, hot tub and kayaks, walk down the driveway, bear right towards Ausable Lodge, walk around the left side of the Lodge, and you’ll see the sauna on your left, as well as the hot tub up on the deck on your right. The Lake with the kayak rack is down the hill from there. You may arrive at 2 PM, and depart by noon on departure day. Door will be left unlocked, with key left on table.
