Back40 Bungalow is so-named because it’s right on the Back40 biking trail in the Ozark Mountains - (the trail actually runs along the back of the house).

Want seclusion and privacy? You’ll get that. But you’ll also be close to downtown Rogers, so it’s easy to get supplies and find places where you can eat out and be entertained.

The mid-Century bungalow offers 1,050 square feet of designer space for up to 4 guests. And it’s all recently been renovated in boho chic style.

Whether you visit for the biking trails, the stunning forest views from every window, or to work remotely or at Walmart’s Global HQ (just 11 miles away) this homely retreat is sure to delight. Let’s take a look around:

LIVING ROOM

The hub of the home offers a great area in for socializing thanks to the comfy leather sofa, two chairs and floor cushions. Why not spread out your maps on the large coffee table and work out the route for your next ride?

DINING ROOM

Planning a special occasion meal during your stay? Or need space to spread out your work things? Either way, the large dining table that seats 6 can handle it. It’s great for eating, working, even playing board games (provided). And the West Elm pendant light lends on-trend moody directional lighting to the space.

KITCHEN

All that cycling is sure to give you an appetite. Good job, then, that you have a kitchen with all the cookware, utensils and storage space you’ll need. Its contemporary design makes best use of every inch of space, so you get a great area in which to prepare snacks and meals.

BIKE FACILITIES:

This home is unashamedly mountain biker friendly. The super-easy access to and from the Back40 trail is a big benefit. But there’s also secure storage for your prized bikes and workshop space for those running repairs.

Want to swap your usual view from the office or home office for something more relaxing and inspiring? How about a forest vista? Back40 Bungalow has plenty of places for you to get your laptop out and get stuck into an assignment, including on the back deck, a covered, quiet and shady space with great views

2 BEDROOMS

All that fresh air is bound to get you sleepy. Both bedrooms feature gloriously comfortable king size beds with Brooklinen Luxe linens. The master bedroom also has a WC and wash basin, a desk and chair, plus a full length mirror. And both bedrooms feature plenty of storage space for your belongings.

BATHROOM

The brand new family bathroom offers up the chance to rest those weary muscles in a tub, or take an invigorating shower to get ready to tackle the next trail. Your hosts will supply quality towels for all guests.

OUTSIDE SPACE

The patio features a swing/hammock seat plus a table with lounge chairs. And you’ll find a gas propane grill with all the tools you’ll need for a BBQ.

LAUNDRY

You’re welcome to use the washer dryer to clean off those splashes and stains from your biking gear if you need to.

You don’t have to be a mountain bike enthusiast to love staying here. Sure, there are trails aplenty within easy reach of the bungalow. But there’s plenty more to keep you entertained if you prefer getting around on two legs or four wheels rather than on a bike:

Museums - if you’re the kind of person who likes to discover more about the area you’re staying in, there are multiple museums to visit, including Crystal Bridges, The Momentary, Scott Family Amazeum, and the Walmart Museum.

Bella Vista Lakes - there are 7 in total, which are only accessible to local residents and their guests.

Tanyard Creek - be sure to get shots of you and the stunning waterfall.

Downtown Rogers - just 20 mins away, there are plenty of shops, museums and entertainment venues here

Walmart Global HQ - if you’re working here, staying in the Back40 Bungalow will mean you’re just 11 miles away. What an easy commute!

Your hosts are determined to give every guest the chance to sample the delights of living in Northwest Arkansas. So they’ll be available via the Airbnb app or text to give advice, support, and answer questions about the bungalow and local area. They’ll even ensure there’s a little goodie bag filled with a few treats waiting for you when you arrive.
