You will feel right at home in this 1 bedroom suite featuring a stunning antique crystal chandelier, kitchenette with granite counter and all the amenities needed. There is also a laptop friendly desk and internet for those who need to work while away from home. The comfortable living room offers a stylish sofa and chair and cable TV. The cozy luxury bedding makes bedtime so inviting!

But you can call me Cathy. :) I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Mathieu, for 32 years. God blessed us with eight children, and so far, 11 grandchildren. I've always been grateful to have been able to be a stay-at-home mom. I was privileged to homeschool each one of them, and I continue to homeschool my youngest 4, in addition to hostessing guests at the Inn.

Our mission is to offer our community and surrounding communities a hospitable place with a nostalgic nod to the historical railway that ran through our small Iowa farming community. We extend our small town hospitality to our out of town guests, by offering a comfortable home away from home. We desire to be a part in revitalizing our friendly rural town, so that it is “still on track” for future generations. We have many exciting plans to expand our business in the future.

We are housed in the historical Farmers State Bank, built in 1900. We have several suites available to our guests at The Mainline Inn, with more amenities to come, offering our guests a comfortable and relaxing stay.
