This brand new modern, one bedroom is perched in the trees for tidal views of the ocean and plenty of wildlife. This open-concept space was designed with simplicity while maintaining elegance and style. Located in the northern side of the quant fishing town of Harpswell, it is centrally located for quick access to popular destinations such as Bowdoin College, Portland, and Boothbay Harbor.

This brand new loft apartment was just built with a modern open concept design, and 600 square feet of well utilized space. The apartment space is accessed via a private door to a stairway. The garage space below is utilized by the owners for storage, and a bathroom for the "glamping" cottage located on the water's edge. The cottage can be rented along with the loft apartment as two units for family and friends traveling together. Inquire for more information.

The modern apartment offers high-end appliances, including a Ninja blender for drinks and smoothies, glass top stove, Cuisinart knife block, and non-stick cookware. Centrally located in northwest Harpswell and ideal for exploring all of Maine, and popular travel destinations. The loft apartment is located on a well-traveled road that allows quick access to places like downtown Brunswick/Bowdoin College (~4 miles away/7 minutes), Portland (~30 miles away/35 minutes), Camden (~90 miles away 1 hr. 20 min), Boothbay Harbor (~60 miles away/1 hr).

**This neighborhood is not suitable for those wanting to walk or bike to get around. The road can get busy during peak travel times. **

Our family of three (Lisa, Bob, and 8 year old, Acadia) lives in the beautiful coastal fishing town of Harpswell, Maine, but the other place we call home is Costa Rica. The biodiversity, wildlife, and culture are a few of what attracts us to this small, but rich Central American country. We anticipate our annual vacation to this warmer climate during Maine's winters.

Bob, a well-known local builder, designed and built The Loft at Augusta Road with simplicity in mind, splurging on some amenities that we consider to be important. We love to cook, so we incorporated a grand kitchen, wide open to the living area. Maine winters are long, and bright indoor spaces are a necessity which was the inspiration to add large windows on the south side of The Loft. Bob has always wanted to build a custom tile shower with a rain head and body sprayers, and this has come to fruition at The Loft.

Lisa, a five-time national Olympic-style boxing champion and coach, left her career as an Environmental Health and Safety Director to pursue personal boxing training and be more available for Acadia. She utilizes the studio space below The Loft for about 10 hours per week, offering personal training through boxing to improve fitness and build confidence. Acadia, named after the magnificent Acadia National Park, attends the Chewonki School. She loves the outdoors, and most of all, terrifying her parents as she seeks out suitable trees to climb. She also likes to build forts, draw/color, ride her bike, hang out with her chickens and rabbit Henry and cat Lynxie.
