We're a very quiet building but very kid friendly. Located next to beautiful Mathis Park with scenic little lakes. Most people come here for University events, however, if you'd like to relax you may use one of my bicycles or a fishing pole. Enjoy walking on the paths at the park. Walking distance to cafes and Harvest Market.

Hello ! Thank you for checking out my listing. I'm a retired hair designer and salon owner. I have a son who lives down the street with Dad and we hang out over there. He'd rather be with his friends than mom & dad so you probably won't see him during your stay unless it's just momentarily. It's just me at the condo now since school's just a walk across the street from Dad's place. Summers are spent traveling with my parents and attending athletic camps out west. There may be times that my listing is for the entire place as opposed to the room I'm currently listing.
I'm an artist and use all sorts of mediums. I've been learning to work with wood recently. If I do make noise it's during the day time and consists of briefly sanding or drilling once or twice a week.
I think I'm approachable, open minded and my wish is to be easy to communicate with.
I'm not offended easily yet have a strong sense or awareness if right vs. wrong...
I'm friendly and cheerful however I stay to myself and allow my guests to enjoy their space.
I'm available if a guest would like to talk. I'm very familiar with the area since I grew up here as a university kid. My parents got their doctorate degrees here and remained in C-U until around 15 years ago.
I've lived other places, in big cities, and traveled frequently only to find myself drawn back to Champaign-Urbana yet I can't tell you exactly why.
We are planning on moving away, to Nevada, around the end of the year.
