Welcome to @ZipcodePHL's latest accommodation, The Urban Cabin in Poblacion.

It's a different take on the classic cabin: it has the usual elements of log, rustic unfinished walls and minimal decors. Just the basic features of a forest cabin.

The obvious difference is you're in an urban jungle.

It's located in Poblacion, Makati, a trendy spot in the metro today.

It’s where the cool kids, the artsy and the hobbyists hang out to visit bars, art galleries, and hole-in-the-wall restaurants.

Some notes about the Urban Cabin :

We started welcoming guests here in February 2022.

We’ve installed blinds throughout the glass windows to shade the room (it’s too bright from 6AM to 12PM here since it’s facing the morning sun). You can shut the blinds to block the sun.

Our check-in time here is 1PM, while checkout time is 10AM.😊

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space.

It's a 52-sqm condominium unit designed as our modern take on a forest cabin--with the breathtaking views of the urban jungle (pun intended) to boot!

You’ll be co-living with real plants, too.

If you're too lazy to go out, my place has TV (just local channels for now; sorry!) and internet (the building is currently undergoing an upgrade on its fiber internet facility so please expect intermittent connection during your stay).

Use the microwave oven to heat your food. If you’re bringing cooked meals to last your stay, you can store food and drinks in the fridge, too. There’s no stove here so cooking isn’t possible (sorry!)

Dozens of bars, pubs, night clubs, restaurants, and coffee shops as soon as you go downstairs.

Money changers, convenience stores, and laundry shops are also within walking distance.

Shopping malls like Century Mall and Powerplant mall are within reach.

Noise could be an issue since it’s right smack in Makati’s entertainment scene. If you’re looking for zero noise, I suggest you check other listings.

It’s accessible to the old Manila, too. You can schedule weekends riding our jeepneys or be a little adventurous with the Pasig River Ferry.

I appreciate those inquiries asking if they could shoot their prenup here or do some product pictorials or film location shoot. I'm honored, but I don’t allow this.

Poblacion is the oldest district of Makati City—long before it was known to be the financial business capital of the Philippines.

These days, Poblacion is the old town meets new -- with some of its centuries-old streets transformed into the hippest places where the cool kids hang out.

Pubs and bars dotting the old town, while the hobbyists and the arts open workshops and galleries to pursue their passions.

Coworking spaces are also sprouting in the area.

- It’s 200 meters to Poblacion pubs, rooftop bars and restaurants like Z, Agimat, The Ruins

- 10-minute walk or 1 jeepney ride to Paseo de Roxas and Ayala Avenue, the business capital

- 8 to 10-minute walk to Powerplant Mall and Rockwell Center

- Just 50 meters away from the busy streets of Makati Avenue

- A jeepney ride away to MRT and Pasig River Ferry
