This is one of the safest neighborhoods in Rio, Urca is really the most charming and security place. We have a perfect view of the Corcovado, Guanabara Bay and of the city.
Here everything is an excuse for a walk through the quiet streets; the markets, local bars, restaurants and bistros take all 5-10 min away by foot.
Sugar Loaf is 15 min by foot and next have the restaurant and nightclub Zozô.
Should you want to hit the beach or go somewhere more agitated, bus lines take you to the city centre, or anywhere on the zona sul; one bus line takes you directly to the subway.
