It's a 2nd story, open plan, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, living, dining, laundry, kitchen with utensils, a large deck with sitting & dining areas. You have total privacy and your own entrance. Your front yard is one acre. The pool is available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We are a pet friendly host. There are no breed or weight restrictions on well trained pups. Must be under supervision outside. Our pet fee is $75.00 per pet. Weekly bookings are after the 1st week in May through the 2nd week of October.

About 15 years ago, my husband brought this Florida girl to Cape May, NJ so I could enjoy more sunshine and the sea. It was love at first sight. The beautiful Victorian architecture, great restaurants and stunning beaches made my first visit here very memorable.

As the years passed, I knew I wanted to retire here so I started looking for just the right place. Four or five years ago, we started taking our Frenchie on vacation with us. My husband found the pet friendly Captain's Sea Cabin and once again I fell in love. I dreamed about one day living at a peaceful property like this where the birds sing every morning in the spring, summer and fall.

Almost three years ago I asked Betty, one of the owners, to let me know if they were going to sell the place. I told her I would love to buy it. She said they had been talking about it, but she seemed more open to the idea than Captain Frank, her husband. Last year I asked my husband to please ask Frank and Betty one more time about selling the property. Kevin sent that request via email a couple of months before our scheduled rental with Frank and Betty in September 2014. As it turned out, we closed on the property the day before our scheduled rental. It has been a great joy living here, serving the guests and making new friends. Sometimes dreams do come true!
