If you want a taste of the North of Brazil and its unique tropical fruits, try one of the many sorbets: cupuaçu and graviola are my favorite, but there are many more!

A good alternative to the Botanical Gardens, if you have already been there and don't want to pay the entrance fee again. This park is smaller and entrance is free of charge. Nice place to get away from the city. It also has a restaurant with a good (and very busy) brunch on weekends.
