Nice little town with great beach that often has little to no Sargassum. Great for snorkelling from the beach. For the snorkelling walk to the left when you reach the beach until you see two big white flat buoys in the water. This place is called ojos de aqua and has a lot of fish.
To get to Puerto Morelos walk up calle 106 until the federal highway. across from the gas station is a farmacy and there you can catch the collectivo to Puerto Morelos and Cancun. It is 30 pesos per person to Puerto Morelos. Once you arrive there take the collectivo (10 pesos per person) or taxi (40 pesos per taxi) to the beach

On calle 54 there is a flee market every sunday from about 10 AM to 3 PM. It runs from Avenida 10th to Avenida 30th

collectivos on Avenida 30th
walk up to avenida 30th to catch a collectivo to the large supermarkets and the centros. The collectivo is 10 pesos per person and takes you quickly to town. To get back make sure you step into a collectivo that says "30-30 final". The collectivos stop often, tell them a street before you want to get off, to stop
