Sightseeing
You can drive from Indian Lake to Old Forge on this scenic back country road through a traditional Adirondack forest. There are ponds, brooks and giant pine trees all along the way. If your lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a bear, moose, or coyote along the way. There are plenty of remote pull off camp sites along the way. An all wheel drive vehicle is necessary. The road is extremely remote and is not very well traveled.
