If you like brunch this place is great! Delicious biscuits and cinnamon rolls. It's busy on the weekends but if you get there before 9:30 generally your wait is shorter.

It's a close and pretty drive to this park. The best part? You don't have to hike a 14'er to get great views! You have the option to do an easy hike or a little more strenuous.

One of my favorite hikes close to Denver with fantastic views. Bonus: Echo lake is partway up Mount Evans so depending on the season you can drive all the way up (for a fee). The old mining town of Idaho Springs also sits at the base of Mount Evans and is the perfect post-hike town with shops, beers, restaurants and more!
