Sisal is approximately a 1.5 hour scenic, peaceful drive from Chuburna Puerto. Stop at the pasta tile factory on your way. The Sisal beaches are unbelievably white and beautiful. There are good restaurants and souvenier vendors. Sisal is a seaport town in Hunucmá Municipality in the state of Yucatán, Mexico. It was the principal port of Yucatán during the henequen boom, later overshadowed when the more modern port of Progreso was built to the east.
