It was added to The National Register of Historic Places in April 1973 where it is noted as one of the best remaining examples of an old country general store.

Our restaurant is located right across the street from Appalachian State and we serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. We have been a part of the community for almost thirty years and believe that there's no place quite like Boone!
