6 mile (3 miles each out and back, moderate difficulty) hike through mostly covered vegetation areas. Wide open views at the top of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. 1/2 hour from our cabin to trailhead. No toilet options on the trail. See the website: AllTrails for additional info
