If you like to try this is best local market in the Seoul that you can try all the different food in one place. You can eat many kind of 'Jeon' which is flat grilled food. People called 'Korean pancake' but it is not like pancake at all. It can be seafood, vege, meat. When they grill Jeon, they use oil so it is bit oily.
'DDuck bok i' is spicy rice cake. It is good for meal and snack. You can see 'Sun dae' next to DDuck bok I. It is Korean black pudding. If you do not eat food made with organs in your country, you will not be used to it. (Like sausage!)
'Deagutang' is cod fish soup. It is spicy and deep taste.
Even you don't like the food in there, you can still enjoy this market. They have cheap clothes, traditional chips, Hanbok, take away Banchan(side dish) shops. You can also buy vintage clothes in the upstairs. I recommend 3floor (level 2) for buy vintage shopping.

Seoul city bike call 'DDa reung i' is very cheap and easy transport if you can ride a bike well. You can download the app and use it ₩1000 for 24 hours. You have to return every 1 hour to any Seoul bike station.

Talk with stranger
Most Koreans are kind but don't prefer to talk with strangers.
Especially nowadays, many foreigners do cult missionary work on the road. People can ignore you and pass by. Please do not get hurt♥ Most of young generation can understand simple American English but they don't want to speak in English. We are very shy to speak in English:)

For the English speaker
When you search about Seoul trip, you might see 'People can speak English well. You can use English everywhere.' No no no it is not true. Korea is not an English speaking country. You can see many English sign in Seoul but it is not mean that shop staff can speak English. You can speak in English in Itaewon (international area in Seoul).
I recommend you learn simple basic Korean language before you arrive or first day of your trip. It will make your journey more diverse and rich. Don't have to be fluent. You can buy anything in just three Korean sentences. Don't be afraid! It will be easy!
