This is a free bouldering trail. It’s about 2 miles from the entrance of a Chimney Rock. It is 1.6 miles long with lots of bouldering options. Rock climbing is most popular in the winter time but the trail and boulders are available year round. This trail is also dog friendly if on a leash.

Rumbling Bald TrailThis is a free bouldering trail. It’s about 2 miles from the entrance of a Chimney Rock. It is 1.6 miles long with lots of bouldering options. Rock climbing is most popular in the winter time but the trail and boulders are available year round. This trail is also dog friendly if on a leash.
Hands down the best view along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take a short .7 mile hike there and back to get stunning 360 degree views. It’s a bit of a drive from the house but the views are my favorite and totally worth the drive.

I recommend the following beers: Banana wheat, pineapple vanilla milkshake IPA, fruit loop milkshake IPA. Yum!
