While not located in Centro, the food is well worth the drive. While the name “black onion” might not attract you, this is one of our favorite appetizers of any restaurant.

Simply put, Oliva is the best Italian restaurant and is on our top 5 list of restaurants overall in Mérida. The fresh pasta is fantastic and the burrata appetizer is our favorite.

The guiding principle behind Agua de Mar is to source all of the ingredients fresh from local organic producers. Don't miss the carmeron roca; it is an amazing dish. The service is among the best in Mérida. Reservations are necessary.

Our Sunday tradition is to walk to SOCO and pick up pastries for our family and employees. To say we love this place would be an understatement! Try the crème brûlée tarts, they're amazing.

Amazing! Merida isn't exactly known for its Asian cuisine but this place is the exception. Every bao I tried was delicious - especially the peking duck! And don't miss out on the dessert baos. While this place is a little far for those of us in Centro, they do deliver if you message them through WA.

Wow! Can't emphasize enough how much I love this place. While they do have meat options, I personally find their vegetable preparations to be the highlight. Beautiful outdoor seating as well as a feminist bookstore. Can be a bit buggy but they provide mosquito repellant on each table.
