Did she say Hotdogs? Yes, I might have found my new guilty pleasure!
When you drive up to Hotdog World, you get the nostalgic feeling of stepping back into the time of outdoor drive-in restaurants. You drive your car into a parking spot and put on your hazard blinking lights. An employee, wearing a mask and gloves, comes to the window to provide you with a menu. After grazing the menu, a green ticket is placed on the back of the car to identify you have been served. When your food is ready, prepared only after you order, an employee delivers your food to the car. Easy, right?
Well, the hard part is trying to choose from their expansive menu! The prices are incredibly affordable, and items include but are not limited to hotdogs (veggie, beef, smoked sausage), hamburgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, floats, and milkshakes. Of course, the list I've provided is not exhaustive! See the link to connect you to the menu.
Leo and I both ordered a veggie hotdog with mustard and sauerkraut. To be honest, I was skeptical. A $1.89 hotdog, can this be any good? I can personally say, IT WAS AMAZING!
Hotdog World has two outdoor tables where you can sit with your fur baby if you choose. The restaurant is not offering any indoor seating at this time, but I can say I appreciate all the restaurant's precautions to prevent the spread of COVID.
I would recommend this restaurant for anyone coming in the area looking for an inexpensive meal. The food truly makes your mouth water before you even take your first bite!

The restaurant was bustling; like most businesses, the restaurant is in need of additional staff members. Yet, we understand that this is a difficult time for restaurants regarding staff retention, hiring, and challenges with food shortage.
In order to sample a few dishes, we ordered three different plates.
For starters, we tried the Crab, Corn, & Lobster Cakes (served with a Truffle Dijon Aioli and Arugula) and the She Crab Soup (Aged Sherry and Crostini's). Our main dishes included a Cast Iron Sirloin (Heirloom Asparagus En Croute, Carmalized Pearl Onions, Black Garlic Potato Puree, and Sauce Perigueux), Poached Chilean Sea Bass ( Chive Gnocchi, Cream Leeks, Corn & Heirloom Cherry Tomato "Succotash" Coriander Beurre Blanc), and the Hudson Valley Duck Breast (Lamb Merguez & Mustard Green, Cherrywood Smoked Grilled Golden Beet, Shaved Truffle Bechamel).
Every dish was amazing; I give this restaurant ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Due to every dish being made fresh- expect to wait in between entrees. This restaurant is truly a dining experience with a chef that is a culinary genius.

If so, I would recommend you visit Pearson's Falls & Glen. How did the property receive the name Pearson's Falls 🏔 ?
At one time, the property was owned by the Pearson Family. In 1931, The Tryon Garden Club purchased Pearson's Falls and Glen. This family-friendly adventure is popular with both locals and tourists. The falls are located in the foothills of Western North Carolina near Saluda, NC. An easy ¼ mile trail to a 90' waterfall offers beautiful sites with amazing wildlife and bird sanctuary.
The picnic tables 🍴and restrooms are now open, so pack a picnic 🧺 or pick up a delightful meal from the Wildflour Bakery located in Saluda, North Carolina!

If so, I would recommend you visit Pearson's Falls & Glen. How did the property receive the name Pearson's Falls 🏔 ?
At one time, the property was owned by the Pearson Family. In 1931, The Tryon Garden Club purchased Pearson's Falls and Glen. This family-friendly adventure is popular with both locals and tourists. The falls are located in the foothills of Western North Carolina near Saluda, NC. An easy ¼ mile trail to a 90' waterfall offers beautiful sites with amazing wildlife and bird sanctuary.
The picnic tables 🍴and restrooms are now open, so pack a picnic 🧺 or pick up a delightful meal from the Wildflour Bakery located in Saluda, North Carolina!

Are you visiting the Cabin on Blueberry Hill and on a quest to find a great brewery? A recent discovery, to Leo and myself, was Triskelion Brewing Company. You will find craft beers, ciders, non-alcoholic beer, and soft drinks!
What makes this brewery special? The staff is knowledgeable and wants to convey how much they love their beer creations. The environment is abundantly relaxing; it's a great place to take your laptop to finish up your workday and enjoy a glass of beer 🍺.
In addition, the brewery has darts, a hook and ring game, television(s) to watch sports, a great stage that welcomes wonderful artists, and a cozy Biergarten that transforms for all seasons. If the weather is nice, bands perform on the outdoor stage in the Biergarten. The environment is children and dog🐶 friendly.
Hungry? They have a food truck, The Lunch Bus, in the evenings to meet your munchie needs! If the food truck is not serving, outside food is allowed within the establishment.
The greatest surprise? Walk in the front door and up the stairs; you will find Blood and Brews, a tattoo parlor! Stop in for a beer and a consultation for some new ink!
