Awesome hiking spot right here in town. Trailhead is about 10-15mins away from the house. This hike will take about 4hrs to complete, round trip (depending on fitness level). It provides a great workout and incredible views at the top! Make sure to pack plenty of food and water!

Waterrock knob provides incredible views from the parking lot! No need to hike unless you want to reach the top! One mile moderately easy hike for most.

Easily one of our favorite spots to hike. It has two trailheads so make sure you know which one you want to start from. Incredible waterfall at the end! Great spot to picnic on the Spock’s. PS- watch for copperheads because they are seen often.

Drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway! Access the parkway in Cherokee near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park or when headed towards Waynesville! Lots of scenic views and hiking areas.
