Sightseeing
There is a back entrance to this park about 10 minutes away from our house. Go down Old Toxaway Road to Frozen Creek Road. Great hike!! If you want to see Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls, you can access those by going to the FRONT entrance to the park in Sapphire, NC. The falls are approximately 1.5-2.0 mile hike from the parking lot. BEAUTIFUL!!! We even wore the dog out hiking! :-)

The hike is beautiful! Early fall, there are blueberries and butterflies galore!! You feel like you’re on too do the world.

Jarrets is about 2 miles from the house. They are open most of the time for those last minute supplies and snacks that you forgot to get before heading up the mountain... it literally has everything that you need in an emergency and beyond!! Food, gas, candles, propane refill tanks, hydrogen peroxide..ask me how I know? :-), etc.
