Some of my favorite burgers are offered there. It's in an area that is off the beaten path, but offer lots of great food. Desserts and breakfasts (yummy pancakes!) are supreme there too!!

This is my go-to place when I'm out of food or don't want to cook. Very reasonable prices and very fresh food. My favorite meal is the fresh salmon plate. They also have excellent salads, pizza and pastas.

This is my favorite brewery. Their brews are yummy and their food is really tasty. I love their Pernicious brew. Just typing that makes me want one. Try their foods too. Really a great place to sit and watch Asheville.

Parks & Nature
The Blue Ridge Parkway is right down the hill from the cottage. Jump on it, ride either way and see some gorgeous views. One of my favorite hiking is the Mountains to Sea Trail which parallels the Parkway. Wherever you see a sign post with a hiker on it, park and jump on! The Parkway also takes you to Craggy Gardens, a beautiful hike with views!!

The estate is available for bike riding, hiking, sitting and relaxing on the grounds with a glass of their wine. There is a beautiful walking path that goes on forever.
