Englewood Food Scene
Local restaurants and breweries. These are my favorite local places to eat, ranging from sushi, to Mexican, to pizza, to farm to table. Local breweries walking distance away so you can stumble home if necessary.

Greenhouse on rooftop, some pretty incredible hydroponic growing systems beneath and a team of chefs constantly dreaming up the best recipes to bring it together. The ingredients are fresher, the flavors are bolder and the connection to the food and the community are more local than ever (5minute drive, 10minute walk).

Small local sushi place with great mixed drinks, sashimi (yuzu sauce on tuna and salmon is a must) at good prices. Last checked, location was under renovation, so entrance is through the back alley. Love this place.

Great individual tacos and house margaritas. Outdoor and indoor seating. Nice Mexican food with a good vibe. (2minute drive, 10-minute walk).

Further Afoot Denver Food Scene
These are the restaurants I go to on repeat, or when I have visitors in from out of town. Crowd pleaser must visit restaurants for foodies.
Denver’s best rated Sushi restaurant. They fly whole Tuna in from Japan every day and fillet the fish in house. The seared tuna tastes like bacon of the sea. They have a large collection of spears from when the Tuna is captured. If you can’t get into Sushi Den, try their sister restaurant Izakaya located directly next door. Almost identical and often easier to get a reservation last minute.

My favorite is to come here for the Christmas decorations, they make a separate bar area with specialty Christmas beverages and a decorum that looks like Santa’s workshop gone haywire. One of many Christmas themed bars around the holidays. Lots of fun bars and restaurants surrounding Avantis if you do a bar crawl.

Best margaritas in Denver, and awesome packed party vibe. This is my favorite Mexican place when venturing a bit further away from Airbnb, though still only a 10min drive.

Restaurant Several locations around Denver, one option is super close on Evans in the Platt Park neighborhood. Highly recommend the Beignets, alcoholic specialty drinks, and of course, all the grits, biscuits and shrimp you can stomach.

A little further away from Airbnb in Washington Park, come here or to the sister restaurant 2 doors down for baked goods, southern comfort cuisine, and a great southern vibe. Highly recommend their eggs Benedict sauce, as it has a good amount of lemon for that early morning zing. Look up the Cookery at Myrtle Hill for sit down dining.

Highly recommend their eggs Benedict sauce, as it has a good amount of lemon for that early morning zing. Look up the Cookery at Myrtle Hill for sit down dining.
Larimer street is where you wanna come for a walking beer crawl and to experience the Denver Brewery scene. Murals by local artists adorn this street, worth a visit just for the art. Ratio beer works is a good starting point, with fun outdoor seating, funky modern vibe and food trucks, but this could be said for all the local breweries on Larimer and surrounding streets like Walnut (Epic brewery is also a must visit). Come for an afternoon or evening. In winter they install the dome heated tents for outdoor drinking. All bars have associated food trucks, a great development that came about with Covid to help them stay open with limited capacity.
