The Clendeboye estate consists of beautiful woodlands for walking and mountain biking. If you are walking you require good footwear. There are some steep inclines dependant on your route. If you are a keen walker you should look at doing the Helen's Tower to Helen's Bay route. Helen's Bay is only about 3 miles from Bangor so you can even finish the walk by taking the coastal path back into Bangor.

City/town information

Kearney is a little village on the Ards peninsula. It's a lovely place to go for a walk. From there you can drive a short distance to Portaferry, get an ice cream in Blaneys before getting the ferry the short distance across to Strangford. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.
