Hiking
This is one of my favorite hikes. It's a tough 6 mile hike, with a gorgeous view at the top. Afterward we like to cool off at Looking Glass falls which is right around the corner from the John Rock parking lot.

Our favorite place to see a huge waterfall and play in the water and on the rocks. There are lots of stairs to access the falls. Most of the water is only ankle deep, but a brave few can venture into the very cold and 5 -7 ft deep water in the middle of the area.

LOWER FALLS
On hot summer days, Lower Falls is a popular Dog Friendly swimming hole for splashing around in the cool mountain water. The rocks are slick and there are no lifeguards on duty. So be careful!
