Just up the mountain road from our house is beautiful 13th lake. A serene lake with no motorized vessels allowed make it a perfect place for any type of paddling you may want to do. Hiking trail to Peaked mountain also begins at the Beach Road access point.

Take a step into the past as you enter North Creek’s restored 1872 Adirondack/D&H Railroad Depot. Saved from the brink of demolition, the North Creek Railroad Station now serves as a Museum (with a fabulous diorama), heritage center, as well as a cultural and economic hub in Historic North Creek.

Bob at Blue Mountain boat livery conducts a boat tour of Blue Mountain narrating an entertaining history of the lake and it's inhabitants both past and present. I will say nobody dislikes being trapped on a boat tour more than me. But this tour is an exception to that. We like the evening tour that begins around 6. Bring a bottle of wine and/or beer and some appetizers and enjoy the tour. Bob has been on this like over 4 decades and it an excellent tour guide. Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Always a great choice for breakfast or lunch. Quality is always spot on and it's a great place to start your day. We like the breakfast bagel sandwiches. You can't go wrong eating here!

Hike to OK Slip falls is a relatively easy hike with small ups and downs throughout. Distance is approximately 7 miles round trip from the trailhead. The hike is an out and back hike mainly through forest with a great view of OK Slip Falls at the end.
