The Biltmore is an Asheville must-see. Imagine a Loire Valley Château smack in the middle of Western NC. Plan on a full day, the self-guided tour is a must, the Stables are great for lunch, can’t miss the gardens, trail rides are a secret adventure to add on and Antler Hill Village has shopping, small animals to visit and the wine tastings.

The gardens were also designed by Olmsted (who did the Biltmore gardens), so for guests who don't have time for the full Biltmore experience this is a wonderful spot to check out. We love hiking along Bent Creek, exploring the epic gardens, the lights at Christmas and picnics all year round!

A drive on the BRP is a must. Head up 240E to exit 9 to go North on the Parkway to see amazing vistas and go 30 minutes up to Craggy Pinnacle for a super simple hike with a 360 view, or go all the way to Mt Mitchell- the highest peak East of the Mississippi! Head down 240W to exit 33 and take a Left to get to the parkway going S- drive 30 min to Mt Pisgah or head all the way to 276 and make a loop through Brevard.
