Food Scene
Great local pizza shop. Honest opinion here. I like it, I don't love it, but I like it. I am not in the majority. People literally drive across town to get Rico's food. While I may not be bowled over by their food I love the customer service. It is a small shop that goes out of its way to make sure you are happy and feel welcomed. Everybody that comes in is family.
You can walk here in minutes and will walk past it every time you go that direction. The smell will draw you in. It smells so good.
They have $2.50 meatball or sausage subs. Again good but not great.
The meats they use do qualify as great.
Things to be aware of before you go: they are closed on Sunday and they do not accept any cards.

Order the carnitas, they are crisp and moist. The flavor will send you to the heavens. The black beans have wonderful flavor. I wouldn't recommend the fajitas, they are not bad but you can get comparable at pretty much any Mexican restaurant.
Before you leave get an order of churros. Flip side here if you are just out walking and checking out the neighborhood stop in for some churros to go and munch as you walk.
