Big Dan's has some of my favorite BBQ in PA. Be sure to try his dry rubbed brisket, Mac-n-Jack, home-made sauces, and stop by the Rohrbach's farm market (which shares a building with) for fresh ingredients and baked goods.

This is one of my favorite spots in Bloomsburg. Good luck finding a better bagel in PA. They do home-made bagel sandwiches, house cream cheeses, and lot's more. They serve Boars Head deli meats, and Dietz and Watson pickles. I like the chocolate chip cream cheese, Pastrami on an everything bagel, and cheese-steak on an everything bagel.

If you find yourself wandering the streets of Bloomsburg late at night, get a hot dog from Em's Pink Wieners. They do all types of hot dogs with plenty of toppings. I like the Chili cheese dogs with onions!

If you are looking for a burger, wings or an affordable meal, stop in the Scoreboard. I like to get wings and one of their many burgers, all named after local schools.

If you don't mind driving a little for some awesome food (about 20-30 minute drive, just off interstate 80), Taqueria J. Zapata is your place. It is my favorite Mexican food. I love the chicken quesadillas, and burritos. Dont be fooled by the prices (about 10$ for a burrito), just one item should fill you up. If you are lucky enough to meet the owner, he is very nice and passionate about serving the tastiest Mexican street food he can!

Come here to sample traditionally baked pastries and baked goods from Europe. The owner, Natalia, brought her knowledge of Czech and Ukrainian baking to Bloomsburg. Everything is delicious!

Knoebels is the #1 family amusement park in the county. Come for the rides, food, games, and other attractions. My favorite is the "Pheonix" rollercoaster. Stop by the "Old mill" in the park for hard ice cream, the Funnel cake stand for funnel cake, and the fresh cut fries stand for fries.

The fairground holds events year round like home shows, gun shows, racing, and more, but the star of the show is the Bloomsburg fair, which is PA's largest fair in the third or fourth week in September. Check out the fair online to see whats going on when your in town!

If you're looking for hiking outside of the trails by your stay, check out Ricketts Glen. Ricketts Glen is one of the prettiest State parks in PA. The most popular trail is the "falls trail", and it is well worth the hike.

I frequent Rohrbach's for baked goods, fresh ingredients, and seasonal delicacies. if your visiting in the fall, be sure to check out the fall festival, which has a pumpkin patch, hay-ride, corn maze, and tons of other activities. As an added bonus, Rohrbach's shares the building with Big Dan's BBQ, one of my favorite places to eat. Plus, it's on the way to Knoebels, so you can do both in the same day.

Covered bridge paradise!
Pennsylvania is the state with the most covered bridges remaining in the country, with approximately 200 bridges. Columbia and Montour counties are home to 25 of the state’s covered bridges. This places the counties as having the third highest number of bridges in the entire United States.
