Starting with Casa de Montejo at the south, built between 1542 and 1549 by the orders of Don Francisco de Montejo, conqueror of the Yucatán Península. View the façade that brutally depicts Spanish conquistadors standing on the heads of the indigenous Maya people. Tour inside the museum to see the stunning architecture and beautifully restored hacienda.
