Craggy gardens is a favorite place of ours! There is a beautiful picnic area and trail that leads to the craggy flats with great views! Just up the road from there is the visitor center and beyond that is the Craggy pinnacle hike. One of the best views around here!

Another amazing view off the parkway is the view from mt. Pisgah! It's a little over an hour drive and the second half of the hike is fairly difficult but both are well worth it!

Just past Mt. Pisgah on the Blue Ridge Parkway is the graveyard fields loop trail. This trail is especially nice when the Blueberries are in season (June and July) Plus there is a swimming hole there too! Fall is also a great time to be there!

Graveyard Fields Loop Trail
Blue Ridge ParkwayJust past Mt. Pisgah on the Blue Ridge Parkway is the graveyard fields loop trail. This trail is especially nice when the Blueberries are in season (June and July) Plus there is a swimming hole there too! Fall is also a great time to be there!
Just between Mt. Pisgah and Graveyard fields is the trailhead to Skinny dip falls near mile post 417. A moderate 2.1 mile hike into the falls. Usually pretty crowded so it might not live up to the name lol but a nice hike with a good cold swimming hole to cool off in.

There are several tubing locations and companies in the area but zen is probably the best. great way to spend a hot summer day.
